God’s command to sacrifice Isaac points to the ultimate sacrifice of His own Son.

The Everlasting God shows His word isn’t bound by time or circumstance.

There is nothing more important than our view of God.

Man is forgetful. Man is nearsighted. God is faithful and merciful.

The God of justice hates injustice in His creation.

Every man struggles with his faith and every child of God ultimately follows his heavenly Father in fits and starts.

Man is irrationally sinful apart from God, and our memory and knowledge of His great power and holiness are often overwhelmed by our selfishness.
